Josef Šíma is the Director of the first international Philosophy, Politics, Economics MA program in the Czech Republic (which attracted to Prague students and professors from over 20 countries from North and South America, Asia, Africa and Europe) and a president of CEVRO Institute, a private university offering top BA and MA programs in law, political science and economic policy.
He also serves as an associated editor of The Review of Austrian Economics. His research interests cover the Austrian school of Economics, economic policy, and the interaction between economics and the law.
He translated into Czech over a dozen of books including Human Action by Ludwig von Mises and Man, Economy and State by Murray Rothbard. He is an author of a forthcoming book Property, Social Action and the Legal-Economic Nexus (Agenda Publishing, 2018).
